January 21, 2008 (Chicago, IL) FreedomRoads/Camping World, America’s largest RV and outdoor retailer, today announced that Gene Schrecengost, former Vice President of Human Resources at Cardinal Health, has joined the company as Senior Vice President of Human Resources. Schrecengost brings with him more than twenty years experience in the field of Human Resources.

At Cardinal Health, Schrecengost was instrumental in leading the company’s HR transformation – including implementing changes in the employee relations model, policies, and HR structure; and creating centralized functions and common pay practices. In addition, he most recently served in the key role of HR integration lead for the Viasys Healthcare acquisition in 2007. Throughout his career, Schrecengost has held responsibility for both national and international HR programs.

Schrecengost received an M.B.A. from The University of Texas with a concentration in Human Resources in addition to earning his Bachelor’s Degree from Brigham Young University. He resides in Libertyville, IL with his wife and children.
